Thank you to the Mayoral Candidates Simon Lepori, Andy Burnham, Melanie Horrocks and Michael Elston who attended the GM4WOMEN and Fawcett Society #GreaterManchester Women's Hustings tonight.
It was an honour to host the event and hear how they intend to tackle #gender #inequality and other issues affecting women and girls in the region.
I asked the final question:
“Any final comments and commitments you would like to make to demonstrate how you will make Greater Manchester a better place for women and girls to grow up, get on and grow old?”
Let's hope whichever candidate is successful honours their commitment to support the issues raised during this evening's debate.
